- Give leadership to all crew meetings and activities.
- Give direction to effective communication.
- Share responsibilities of leading the crew with your officers.
- Know the needs and interests of your crew members.
- Control the actions and behavior of crew members.
- Set the example for the post members.
- Participate in council, area and national Venturing events.
- Consult with individual crew members who have problems, questions or concerns.
- Direct the planning of your crew programs.
- Work closely with your advisor/advisors.
- Appoint crew members to serve as activity committee chairmen.
- Recruit new crew members into your crew.
